Reminiscent - Part III

Birthday Boy!

We decided to "invest" in T's party rather than pay $150 for a bouncy house that we could use for 3 hours. Instead - thanks to K-Marche', we ended up with a slip n' slide AND a pool for $50 and we get to enjoy it all summer! Now THAT'S thrifty. ;)

"Wipeout!"

What a fun day - I love this little mug.

You know the party was a huge success when two wired boys fall asleep without nagging, cajoling and perhaps yelling...

my behind...part II

We got home on Easter morning, so I think I got about 3 hours of sleep the night before we left for our trip...not at all helpful. ;)

For "Aunt Carol" and "Uncle Stan," our family by affection. xo

Birthday boy - Tman turned 7 a couple of days after we got home. WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE? We have a birthday tradition (started by Grandma Sheila) - "Daddy Doughnuts" for breakfast on the morning of your special day.

Another fun tradition (started by Grandma Anita) - wake up to a decorated room...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

My hubs loves STALE peeps - and I love that he loves them. And that I'm not even a little bit tempted to eat them.

This boy loves his sock monkeys!!

A special lunch date with mom and dad at school - I was a second grade teacher just down the hall. So fun!

Not sure why my photos are all out of order - except that its perfectly imperfect, like myself, so we'll go with it....checkers over lunch. Loved it.
Birthday boy and Mrs. B, AKA mom.
Lovin' every minute of this boy!!

my behind is behind...

Spring Break/Easter: Because P-Ditty's choir trip to S. Africa was cancelled, we made last minute plans for a Southern California adventure over spring break. It was a PACKED week - we flew into Long Beach, drove to San Diego, visited Legoland on day one, SeaWorld on day two, Disneyland on Day's 3 - 5, the beach on day with our great friends the McCraney's on day 6, and flew home on Easter Sunday for dinner at Aunt Carol's. To say we were pooped would be an understatement. And while we had a great trip, we've all decided the beach is more our speed. :)

P-Ditty has always had a fascination with Egypt.

Legoland Aquarium

SeaWorld - mom and dad's favorite part of the trip. We stayed at a hotel that brought us to the back gate by boat! I LOVE orcas and dolphins, so I was in Heaven.

Mom sat this one out...the boys got SOAKED!

As close as he was gonna get to this $275 souvenir. :)

Aspiring pilot...

My Handsome boys...am I lucky or what?!

Aspiring fireman.

Chip off the ol' block - I beat all the boys in elementary school in the rope climbing contests. They blamed it on my small stature...psh.

Ready for pirates...a family favorite.

Cute little poser. He knows cool. ;)
