Farmer Ben

It turns out that Ben is quite the farmer (ORGANIC I might add!!) We have all enjoyed the fruits of his labors. He FINALLY got his John Deere tractor, which cut mowing time down from 3 hours to 30 minutes . . . we're ALL happy about that!

Plums from the backyard . . . "Yard-sitting" for the neighbor . . .
Fresh from Farmer Ben's Garden:
Yellow string beans and carrots . . .
Beets, Turnips, Carrots and Yellow string beans . . .
Banana peppers and tomatoes . . .
All in a days work . . .
Yellow squash . . .
Heirloom Tomatoes . . .
DINNER TIME:
Grandma Sheila's delicious recipe . . .
Beets . . .
Turnips . . . String beans from Aunt Ellen's yard . . . Beets - a favorite. Note to self: Next year, plant MORE BEETS!

Happy harvest!
