hillarious happenings from my 3rd day on the job...
* my "BOSS" had a horrible head cold and had to step outside for 5 minutes (for a stoagy break) can i just say, WHY???
* i realized that i am really arrogant (i kept thinking..."who does she think she is? or i am? or whatever?! i am 34 years old and i didn't apply for the JANETORIAL POSITION!...i have a COLLEGE DEGREE for crying out loud!"--as i continued mopping, sweeping, scrubbing toilets and straightening--i was having a heated IMAGINARY conversation with her...)
* upon discovering that we had grown up in the same town, my BOSS asked me what year i graduated... me: "1992" her: "oh...i guess my dad was older. he graduated in like 1960-something." me: thinking...'ARE YOU KIDDING ME? do i LOOK like i'm 60-something years old to you?' her: "wait, maybe it was 1983?! yeah...i think that's right." because WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE when you're THAT OLD right?! 60's, 80's, its all the same. (she graduated in 2003)
*I don't think i made a DIME tonight...okay THAT is not hillarious!
